As announced in a Sept. 5 news release, the AICPA, NASBA and Prometric are pleased to announce the expansion of the Uniform CPA Examination to test sites in England, Germany, Ireland and Scotland starting Monday, Oct. 1.
Administering the U.S. CPA Exam internationally responds to demand for U.S. CPA licensure from international candidates and offers convenience to professional accountants abroad, particularly those employed by public accounting firms operating in these regions.
Testing in the newly announced international locations will be open to eligible citizens and residents of the countries with exam administration. In addition, eligible citizens and residents of the European Union nations, Norway, the Russian Federation and Switzerland will be able to take the exam—which is the same exam administered in the U.S.—at these locations. U.S. citizens living abroad are eligible to test at any location.
