The Small Business Administration (SBA) has reopened its Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and EIDL advance grant portal to a broader array of eligible small businesses and nonprofits affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The SBA only accepted loan applications from agricultural businesses last month due to the industry’s high demand. To date, the SBA has approved more than 1.43 million loans for a total of $95.6 billion through the EIDL program.
Unlike the Paycheck Protection Program with a June 30 deadline, businesses can apply to the EIDL programs through year-end.
