Wisconsin receives more than $3B in relief payments

The state of Wisconsin received more than $3 billion in Economic Impact Payments (EIP) within the first three weeks of the coronavirus relief program, according to IRS data.

According to the latest state-by-state figures, Wisconsin has received 1,690,733 EIPs for a total of nearly $3.1 billion in relief.

As of April 17, the IRS issued 88.1 million payments – worth nearly $158 billion–to taxpayers across the U.S. The IRS will issue more payments each week.
