With Wisconsin farmers facing an unprecedented series of challenges brought on by COVID-19, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is offering support, information and resources through the Wisconsin Farm Center.
The Wisconsin Farm Center provides an extensive array of services to farmers, often in cooperation with the university, governmental or private sector. Those services include financial and business consultation, farm succession planning, and legal and financial mediation. All services provided come at no cost to farmers, and all information provided to the Farm Center is confidential.
Additionally, the DATCP and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation are notifying the state’s farmers about the opportunity to apply for the federal Paycheck Protection Program.
