The 2020 Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Milwaukee, now officially delayed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, will be held in mid-August, the DNC Convention Committee announced Thursday, April 2.
The event, estimated to draw in more than $200 million in revenue for the state, was originally scheduled for the week of July 13.
Organizers will use the additional time to monitor how the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, said Joe Solmonese, Democratic Convention Committee CEO.
