The IRS will host a teleconference for tax professionals on Thursday, April 2, to share information about the coronavirus tax relief and to hear questions and concerns.
The first Thursday Issue Management Resolution System (IMRS) call will run 9–10 a.m. CST. The IRS and Wisconsin Department of Revenue will discuss what’s happening with the COVID-19 tax relief.
To participate in the call, you must first join the web portion of the meeting.
After joining the web portion of the meeting, attendees may then join the audio portion using one of the following three options:
- By phone (recommended): Select “Call Me” on the meeting webpage, and then enter your phone number. Your phone will automatically ring.
- With your computer: Select “Call Using Computer” on the meeting webpage to use your computer’s speakers, microphone and internet connection.
- The last choice (only if you cannot get the above two options to work) is by calling either 855-865-6792 (IRS WebEx External) or 304-579-6720 (alternate number) and dialing access code 997156038.
To find out if your computer has the minimum system requirements, join a test meeting.
If you experience problems accessing WebEx, it might be because of the internet browser you are using. Try another browser, such as Chrome or Internet Explorer. Microsoft Edge is not supported.
