Voters encouraged to participate in Absentee Vote

March 19, 2020

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and necessity to limit transmission, many polling places will be unavailable, and those that are will be understaffed.

Voters are encouraged to vote in the upcoming spring election and presidential preference primary on April 7 by absentee ballot.

Registered Wisconsin voters may request an absentee ballot by visiting MyVote.WI.gov. If you are not registered, or if your name or address has changed, you will need to register or update your registration before requesting an absentee ballot.

If you're already registered, request a ballot here. Be prepared to upload an acceptable voter ID (current and valid Wisconsin Driver License or Wisconsin State ID Card). Voters must request an absentee ballot by April 2 to vote in the upcoming election and primary.
