Considerations for working remotely

With concerns about the spread of COVID-19, employee absences will increase if they haven’t already done so. Firms that use cloud-based technology are in the best position to handle increased demand for remote work.

Firms that have not adopted cloud technology can still use several free online tools to collaborate and share files outside of the office, like Microsoft, Google and Zoom.

Working remotely does present certain cybersecurity concerns. Best practices include working from a private Wi-Fi network instead of using public Wi-Fi networks that are susceptible to cyber thieves.
