The U.S. and Wisconsin economies will continue to grow in 2020, according to the latest economic forecast update from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
Several one-time factors will support economic growth in 2020, including a rebound in auto production, resumed production of Boeing’s 737 Max jet and spending on the 2020 decennial census. The current expansion is the longest on record, having reached its 126th month.
The December 2019 economic forecast update (PDF) also predicts a rise in employment and personal income for both the U.S. and Wisconsin.
