The IRS recently announced extended due dates for sending certain health care information statements to individuals as required under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
The IRS has extended the date every year since the requirement went into effect to allow employers, insurers and other health coverage providers more time to gather and analyze the data they need to prepare forms 1095-B and 1095-C.
The new due date to send both forms to individuals is March 2, 2020.
