The IRS recently issued draft versions of the 2019 Form 1065, “U.S. Return of Partnership Income,” and 2019 Form 1120-S, “U.S. Income Tax Return for an S Corporation,” and their respective K-1 schedules.
The near-final forms are intended to give tax practitioners a preview of the changes and software providers the information they need to update systems before the final versions are released in December.
The IRS will accept comments on these draft versions through the month of October.
