Wisconsin’s state-chartered banks reported sound financial performance through year-end 2024, according to new data released by the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI).
As of Dec. 31, 2024, there were 118 state-chartered commercial banks serving Wisconsin residents.
At year-end 2024, total assets for Wisconsin’s state-chartered banks stood at $70.24 billion, up from $67.08 billion reported on Dec. 31, 2023.
The net interest margin remained stable at 3.24%, compared to 3.23% in December 2023. Net loans increased by 4.66% to $50.7 billion, up by $2.3 billion over the same time. See more findings.
