The IRS is conducting a phone survey through Friday, Jan. 19, to help it improve services to tax professionals and their clients.
ICF, an independent research firm hired by the IRS, will randomly select tax practitioners to take part in the voluntary 20-minute survey.
The survey covers topics like e-filing, due diligence requirements, data security and electronic document submission.
All responses are anonymous and confidential. ICF does not require tax professionals to share any personal information about themselves or their clients.
ICF will contact tax professionals between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. CST Monday through Friday. Recipients will see a Kansas City area code (816) on their caller ID.
If you want more information or have questions about the survey, you can email ICF at taxprofessional@icfsurvey.com or call 888-504-6387.
