Notice 2023-59 announces the upcoming proposed regulations and offers interim guidance regarding home energy audits for purposes of the energy-efficient home improvement credit.
The nonrefundable credit is for the purchase and installation of certain energy-efficient improvements in taxpayers’ principal residences.
