With a tight labor market and a skills gap, many companies are focusing on skills instead of experience when hiring. LinkedIn recently analyzed thousands of jobs and found the 10 most in-demand skills for 2019.
The skills are broken into two groups—the top five soft skills and the top five hard skills. Persuasion, collaboration and time management are a few of the sought after soft skills, while people management, artificial intelligence and cloud computing are a few of the desired hard skills. LinkedIn suggests courses from its Learning Library for those who want to learn new skills or sharpen existing ones.
