The Institute of Management Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the International Federation of Accountants recently released a new report that offers solutions to closing the diversity gap within the accounting profession.
The Diversifying Global Accounting Talent: Actionable Solutions for Progress report assesses the deeply rooted issues inhibiting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and offers solutions to close the gap.
The report analyzes the responses from more than 8,000 respondents across the world in the accounting field. Using their feedback, the report generated more than 70 actionable DEI practices to improve diversity in the profession.
The authors classified their actionable practices into two main categories: attracting diverse talent and retaining/promoting that talent. See the full report.
