IRS reminds tax-exempt organizations of May 16 deadline

April 25, 2022

The IRS is reminding tax-exempt organizations that many have a filing deadline on May 16.

Organizations that operate on a calendar-year basis have certain annual information and tax returns to file with the agency.

Those returns include Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF or 990-T, and Form 4720.

The IRS also reminds organizations to submit complete and accurate returns. If an organization’s return is incomplete or erroneous, the IRS will reject it. Common errors include missing or incomplete schedules. Read more.
