DOR seeks VITA and TCE volunteers for 2022 filing season

October 23, 2021

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) is seeking volunteers to help with the state’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs for the 2022 filing season.

Anyone can volunteer to help with these programs, the DOR emphasizes. Volunteers can range from students and retirees to those working full-time jobs. Because several non-tax preparer positions are available, accounting experience is not necessary to volunteer. Training is available to those who wish to serve as a preparer.

Volunteers will need to either submit this information form or contact VITA-TCE Program Coordinator Juan Carlos Reyes by Nov. 15 at 608-261-5236 or juan.reyes@wisconsin.gov.
