Easing the mental drain caused by unending, small changes

Small, frequent changes in the workplace can result in a widespread mental drain among finance professionals, a new report finds.

These small changes are all too familiar: a software upgrade, frequent turnover, office renovations, policy changes. They can all add up to an emotionally drained staff.

Some firms are trying to offset that drain by improving the lives of their staff members by providing early leave times to help employees avoid rush hour, office-funded luncheons, free therapy sessions and instituting email “quiet hours.” Read more.
