The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is moving on to the next stage of the $16.25 billion Shuttered Venue Operator Grant (SVOG) program.
The agency recently said it will begin sending invitations for supplemental SVOG awards to live entertainment venues and other entities that received an initial grant and reported at least a 70% reduction in 2021 first-quarter revenue.
Since opening in April, the SVOG program has awarded around $9 billion in grants to more than 11,500 organizations that suffered revenue loss due to restrictions on public gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Read more.
