IRS revises Form 1024-A for electronic filing

As part of ongoing efforts to improve service for the tax-exempt community, the IRS issued a revised Form 1024-A, Application for Recognition of Exemption Under Section 501(c)(4), to allow electronic filing.

The electronic version of Form 1024-A and its instructions are available here. The IRS will continue to accept paper versions of the form until April 5, 2021.

The required user fee for Form 1024 will remain $600 for 2021. Applicants must pay the fee through Pay.gov when submitting the form.
