Economic & Financial Market Outlook: Post-Election Prospects
Will the economy stagnate or rebound after this fall's elections? Will inflation keep declining, allowing the Fed to lower rates further and ensure nothing worse than a "soft landing" for the economy? Will common stock prices rise, or will uncertainties and new fiscal policies pull the market down? How will unprecedented federal deficits affect our living standards down the road? What other economic and financial risks and opportunities lie ahead? Find out what the most reliable indicators point to and what that means for us all in 2025-2028.

Financial Accounting Update
The past year has been a quiet one for the FASB. After the crushing changes of the past five years, the FASB has focused on conforming the FASB Accounting Standards Codification to SEC accounting rules. As a consequence, there have been few new rules relating to the non-SEC sector, but a flood of standards that have just become effective. This session will discuss a few things you will find familiar, along with a few things you may have ignored up to now.
