The AICPA has developed financial planning resources for the public, which includes guidance on budgeting and saving, estate and retirement planning, managing credit, an investment primer, and much more. The site also provides information about CPAs who hold the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential. To access these resources, visit www.aicpa.org/pfpinfo/index.asp. You can also find information on the AICPA's financial literacy programs at www.aicpa.org/financialliteracy or through the Project for Financial Independence, an AICPA collaboration with NEFE and four of the largest financial planning organizations, to provide free financial guidance to individuals who cannot afford a financial advisor, at www.consultaplanner.org.
