Young Professionals

A young professional membership gives you access to more than 8,200 members statewide. Membership connects you to peers, partners, mentors and friends, allowing you to network with important accounting professionals. The WICPA offers networking opportunities and other valuable membership benefits that can help jumpstart your career.

Build relationships

The Young Professionals Committee has planned several exciting events tailored around the needs of professionals who have been in the workforce less than 10 years. They include:

  • Young professionals CPE and social events offered around the state. These events offer a chance to hear about a hot topic in the profession and are a great way to meet other professionals in the area.
  • The annual Young Professionals Conference, designed by young professionals for young professionals. Visit our conference page to find out more about this year’s conference.
  • Sporting events bring together professionals of all ages in a fun environment to mingle and network as they cheer on Wisconsin sports teams.

You have dedicated many hours toward schooling, studying and preparing for your future. The WICPA offers ways to enhance your resume and set yourself apart from your peers.

  • New CPA welcome dinner: A semi-formal event recognizing newly-licensed CPAs.
  • Members are nominated for state and national awards given by the AICPA.
